KEFI Gold & Copper has just raised £34 million via a placing of shares at 1.2p. The money raised completes the funding required for construction of the Tulu Kapi gold mine in Ethiopia, where work is already underway. There was significant institutional interest in the raise, but retail investors can also get a look in via a separate £1m fundraising exercise that's taking place via RetailBook.
