ARTS SPOTLIGHT Sara Salem: Muralist, Arts & Wellness Educator

Sara Salem is a mural artist in St. Pete, a first time 2025 SHINE muralist (community mural) and co-founder of Phi Phi Artland. She is an Art teacher, and a Yoga instructor. She enjoys sharing her passions with others through wellness retreats, art classes, and workshops. Sara believes in the therapeutic benefits of art and approaches art from a holistic perspective. She is convinced that art can be used as a tool to achieve higher levels of well-being, self-awareness, and wholeness. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, a 200 RYT Yoga certificate, Reiki level II certification, and a certification in Art Therapy. Her unique perspective on art has been formed through combining her higher education, practical experience, and over 10 years of teaching in adult classes and K-12 schools across Africa, Asia, and USA. Overall, Sara Salem is a dedicated muralist who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with others to help them achieve greater well-being and personal growth.
