July 1969. It was the feat of the Century. Man walked on the Moon. Live pictures beamed back to a sleepless, black and white Britain.
But, putting the euphoria of the first steps behind him, how chuffed Neil Armstrong must have been next day, on hearing DLT offer his hairy cornflake congratulations via BBC Radio 1.
