Tanya and Steve’s daughter has expressed interest in becoming a police officer, she is 20 years old and in college. She started as a marketing major and now wants to switch to criminal justice. Dad is furious. He thinks it’s too dangerous for a woman, and especially for his daughter who has been spoiled her whole life. Women shouldn’t be police officers and should be teachers, or work in businesses. Safe things. He says he will not pay for her to continue her education unless she drops this. Mom says that she’s an adult, they have to support her in whatever she chooses to do. Does he have to fund a major he doesn’t approve of?
