Ethan Ryan expresses the immense personal significance of facing Leeds Rhinos in a Super League derby at Odsal Stadium on Good Friday.

Having previously played in friendlies and a Challenge Cup victory against Leeds, he highlights the unique excitement of a first Super League derby since 2014.

Ethan acknowledges Leeds as a strong opponent and reflects that Bradford need to improve from the recent Castleford loss, particularly addressing a 15-minute lapse.

Recalling the memorable 2019 Challenge Cup upset against Leeds, he describes the elation of the draw and the galvanising effect of former coach John Kear.

While that victory was sweet, Ryan emphasises focusing on the current game.

With Ethan excited that a large crowd of around 15,000 will be inside Odsal, seeing the energy and noise from the supporters as a potential "weapon" against Leeds, looking forward to the electric atmosphere of the rivalry round.
