The Florida Gators just landed their quarterback for the 2027 class — and he might be the most physically gifted signal caller in the country. In this exclusive episode of Stadium and Gale, Dan sits down with Sage Hansard of ARC QB Training, the personal quarterback coach who has worked with Davin Davidson since he was 12 years old.

Davin Davidson, the 6'6" Cardinal Mooney product, chose Florida over Notre Dame, Georgia, Miami, Auburn, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, and Florida State in one of the fastest-rising recruitments in the 2027 class. A state champion, Elite 11 finalist, and four-star prospect currently ranked inside the top 13 quarterbacks nationally, Davidson finished his junior year with 2,360 yards, 23 touchdowns, and a 126.7 QB rating.

Sage breaks down what makes Davin different — an elite .34-.35 second release, the ability to throw the ball 70-75 yards with ease, elite pocket mechanics, and an athleticism that catches people off guard. We get into his path from Sarasota High School to Cardinal Mooney, his relationship with the Florida staff, including Coach Summerall, Buster Faulkner, and the connection with Steve Spurrier Jr., and why Sage — a diehard FSU fan — believes his guy made the right call heading to Gainesville.
If you follow Florida Gators football, Gators recruiting, or the 2027 quarterback class, this one is essential. Davin Davidson is the real deal.
