Tillie Geidel Conklin was only six years old when she lost her father on September 11, 2001. Gary Geidel was a firefighter, proudly serving with Rescue 1, the same firehouse his own father served in as a Lieutenant.

Eleven men from Rescue 1 died that day.

Gary was a father. A husband. A brother. A son. A friend (and hero) to so many. He loved animals, was a family man, helped the community not only as a firefighter but as a handy man - need help? Garys here, no fear.

Tillie, now a young lady, talks about her father, stories that will warm your heart. You'll hear about him not only as a firefighter, but as a father. Tales about his past, including the 1993 bombing at the WTC, and signs that his beloved daughter has received from him since his passing.
