A loud crack and I jumped, suddenly there was a burst of heavy rain from the sky, and drops of acid fell. An older woman put up her hands to protect her face with a horrific screech only for her hands to receive the same treatment. It burned black, sizzling down until her bones were exposed and I wasn't going to wait around.
