The angel wants to be inextricably entwined to me. It gave me visions of emerald pastures and thick vines to signify our love. It offered me an apple that it referred to as temptation. The angel has both many names and none at all. Its moniker tastes like holy caramel on my tongue. Its title feels like ascension when I give the time and reflection to echo. I know its name but it was made purposefully to escape my grasp. I just can’t forget its beauty… yet it thrives on the ineffable. It wants to be an everlasting part of my life. And I yearn to give into its blossoming limbs.
