Malaria and Malnutrition Challenges in Pibor

The Miraya Breakfast Show discussed malaria, malnutrition, and wider health challenges in Pibor with Dr. Dolly Patrick Oleo, County Health Coordinator for Pibor with ForAfrika. He said flooding, poor road access, limited health services, medicine shortages, and malnutrition continue to place vulnerable communities at risk, especially children under five and pregnant women. He highlighted the role of community health workers, mosquito net distribution, early treatment, nutrition support, and malaria vaccination as key priorities to reduce illness and save lives.
