New Haven Solid Waste & Recycling Authority with IKEA and 94.3 WYBC presents the Hometown Recycling Day on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 10am-1pm at IKEA Parking Lot in New Haven.
Please enter at 3 Brewery Street, New Haven.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING:
BOOKS: hard & soft cover
BOTTLES & CANS REDEEMED*: plastic bottles and aluminum cans
DOCUMENTS: on-site document shredding - limit of 3 file boxes
ELECTRONICS: TVs, cell phones, computers, monitors, stereos, printers, wires and rechargeable batteries
IKEA FURNITURE: items purchased at IKEA - in good condition
TEXTILES: clothing, shoes, belts, hats, handbags - dry and in plastic bags
