Dr. Diana Bianchi Shares Essential Insights on Maternal Health

Dr. Diana Bianchi, director of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, joined us to walk through all the concerns many moms have surrounding medical treatment during pregnancy and postpartum. We cover the lack of studies on medications in pregnant and breastfeeding women, and how to make sure you’re informed when starting or continuing a medication or treatment. Dr. Bianchi emphasizes that a healthy mother is the most important thing, and following up to date medical guidelines are the best way to keep yourself and your baby safe.
