Ed Loye, the recently appointed chief executive of Great Western Mining, has been out in Nevada making preparations for the company's upcoming drilling campaign at its Defender-Pine Crow tungsten project. Around 2,000 metres of RC drilling is planned over the summer, and the company is well-funded, so there could be significant follow-up work going into the autumn. Meanwhile, a bulk sample has been sent away for testing, and Ed himself is off to Washington next week to put Great Western's name in front of some influential people.
