The Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter (also known as the Hopkinsville Goblins Case) was a claimed close encounter with extraterrestrial beings that occurred on the night of August 21–22, 1955. The event was near Kelly and Hopkinsville in Christian County, Kentucky. Eleven family members reported being besieged for nearly four hours by 12 to 15 small, silver-skinned creatures with large glowing eyes and claw-like hands…which they claimed were impervious to gunfire!!!
