Williamsburg Public Gaol (pronounced "jail") is widely considered one of the most haunted locations in Colonial Williamsburg. Reports of paranormal activity dating back to its operation in 1704. It served as a short-term holding for those sentenced to whipping, branding, or hanging…with over 170 individuals executed in the area, contributing to its reputation as a focal point for paranormal investigations!!!
