Is Astros management burning the team down from the inside?

Houston came within a flukey inning from being swept by the Pirates. The pitching that started looking so good struggled mightily and the offense continued their struggles save for a 6-run breakout in the middle game. Can the Astros get well against some Division opponents or has management's decisions already buried this team's chances?
