What if the business you’ve spent years building is actually the thing keeping you trapped?
In this powerful episode of Listen Bitch Presents: Tell Me Why You’re Special, Branden sits down with entrepreneur, author, and Sunny HQ founder Dylan Bost to discuss burnout, business growth, alignment, purpose, and the hidden cost of success.
After building a thriving 25-person agency complete with awards, luxury cars, and outward signs of achievement, Dylan found himself questioning whether success was actually bringing fulfillment. His journey led him to rethink entrepreneurship, challenge conventional definitions of achievement, and build a life centered around freedom, meaning, and human connection.
Together, Branden and Dylan discuss entrepreneurial burnout, personal alignment, mentorship, human-centered business, AI’s role in modern companies, customer relationships, personal growth, and the difference between being busy and being effective.
If you’ve ever felt trapped by your own success, struggled with burnout, or questioned whether you’re building the life you actually want, this conversation will hit home.

I’m Dylan Clayton Bost, founder of Sunny HQ — a human-first WordPress hosting and support company built from years of learning what not to do.
Before Sunny HQ, I ran a successful creative agency for over a decade. On the surface, everything looked great. But behind the scenes, I was caught in a cycle of reactive work, subjective deliverables, and systems that pulled more energy than they returned.
That experience, along with the guidance of a few great mentors, led me to redesign how I build — not just businesses, but culture, time, and purpose.
Sunny HQ was born out of that pivot. It’s a business grounded in clarity and simplicity. We support hundreds of clients by taking the tech weight off their shoulders — so they can focus on what they actually came here to build. No bots. No chaos. Just real support from real people.
I bring 30 years of experience in design, systems thinking, and operations, and I’ve spent the past several years refining what it means to build from alignment instead of urgency. I’m also writing The Seven Mirrors, a book that explores how memory, leadership, and business intersect — and how clarity becomes a tool for transformation.
