Haunted White Sanitarium

The White Sanitarium, also known as the Old Insane Asylum or Dr. White's Sanitorium, is a historic building located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Founded in 1926 by Dr. Frank S. White, a former superintendent of the Austin State Hospital, the facility was designed to provide a more humane, home-like environment for patients with mental illness, tuberculosis, and substance abuse issues…contrasting with the harsh treatments common in the early 20th century!!!
