PHILIPPIANS: Learning to Rejoice in All Seasons of Life - GOD IS WORKING IN YOU – June 28, 2026

There is a particular exhaustion that the most capable people carry, and trying harder only makes it heavier. In Philippians 2:12-18, Paul writes four words to a tired church that take the weight off our backs: God is working in you. This message follows that one truth through three places it changes everything — the pressure to change ourselves, the habit of grumbling under the strain, and the urge to prove ourselves. Along the way we see why grace is not opposed to effort but to earning, why complaining is less a mood than a matter of faith, and how a believing people becomes light right in the middle of a dark world. It all lands on the One who walked our wilderness without a word of complaint and was poured out so that we could be filled.
