Dering Woods, located between the villages of Pluckley and Smarden in Kent, England, is widely known as the “Screaming Woods.” The forest is named for persistent reports of blood-curdling screams, footsteps, and whispers emanating from the trees, particularly at night or during foggy conditions!!!
