In this week's Time Team podcast you'll learn about an exciting discovery at New Hall School in Essex, home to the Palace of Beaulieu which was once owned by King Henry VIII. Workers repairing a ha-ha (sunken wall) came across what are thought to be Tudor tunnels, once part of the original palace building. The site was once the subject of a Time Team dig back in 2009. Martyn Williams revisits to see the latest discovery for himself.

Also today, John Gater speaks to Helen and Martyn from Orkney where Time Team's dig at The Ness of Brodgar continues. Time Team members can follow it as it happens on Patreon. You'll also hear about Orkney's unique rock art from expert Tertia Barnett and Derek Pitman and Lawrence Shaw check out a historic festival at Butser.
