The ability to enjoy books in an accessible way is a vital building block for education and career success but reading can also take you on adventures, become a discussion point or give you a breather from everyday life.
RNIB is involved in the Year Of Reading and part of this is the Summer Reading Challenge.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Allan Russell spoke to RNIB’s Tom Norton, to learn more about the challenge and why it’s so accessible.
If you’d like more info, go to rnib.org.uk/education and go to the children’s reading section.
