Today I'm excited to welcome Adam Steglich, the voice behind the psychedelic groove metal band EverFelt.

EverFelt isn't just another rock band. Since forming in 2022, they've been carving out a sound that blends heavy riffs, psychedelic textures, and deeply personal storytelling into something that's entirely their own. Drawing inspiration from bands like Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Tool, and Audioslave, they've created music that's as emotional as it is powerful.

But what makes Adam's story especially meaningful is that EverFelt was born from loss. The band's name honors Adam's late best friend, with the hope that he would be "forever felt" through the music they continue to create. That purpose—to turn grief into something lasting and meaningful—has become part of the band's identity.

If you've listened to this podcast before, you know I'm fascinated by the stories behind the songs—the moments that shape artists, the pain that becomes purpose, and the music that helps people survive life's hardest chapters. Adam understands that language.

So today we're going beyond the riffs and beyond the stage. We're talking about the journey, the losses that shaped him, the creative process, what it means to stay authentic in today's music industry, and the message EverFelt hopes people carry with them long after the last note fades.

Please help me welcome Adam Steglich of EverFelt to The Authentic Life with KL.
