Lindsay Clancy's Medication Did THIS To Her Mind

Before January 24, 2023, Lindsay Clancy had done everything a struggling mother is supposed to do. She sought treatment. She called hotlines. She admitted herself to hospitals. She filled every prescription. The defense argues the system that was supposed to save her chemically destabilized her instead.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott sits down with Tony Brueski to examine what was happening to Lindsay clinically — not the legal arguments but the treatment. Thirteen medications over four months from providers who allegedly were not sharing records or coordinating care. Three benzodiazepines. An antipsychotic her husband said made her ten thousand times worse. Dosages that went up when the family was begging for them to come down.

Lindsay called a suicide hotline and was turned away. She spent three days in a psychiatric hospital before being evaluated. Her nurse practitioner allegedly never returned a follow-up call from a referring facility. The malpractice lawsuit filed by both Lindsay and Patrick Clancy describes a prescribing chain where each provider treated a fragment of her condition without seeing the whole picture.
