One Mic Stand Summer 2026

One Mic Stand is Mint Sound's very own open mic night. It took place at the Wythenshawe Forum Creative Space on Friday the 17th of July 2026. It was a Pride in Place project in partnership with Wythenshawe Good Neighbours, WFM and the creative space. We wanted to know about what you thought about Benchill and Wythenshawe town centre, your life and hopes for the future.

We had poetry, singing and stories from local people on the night. Some people who took the mic featured:
