House of the Dragon: Season 3, Episode 6, "Faceless Men"

This week, Da7e and Neil are trudging through the mud of the Riverlands as House of the Dragon continues to slog its way toward a season 3 conclusion.

In The Calm [04:54], they call for justice for one of the continent's coolest archers, find themselves perplexed by several adaptation choices, and attempt to place blame for the episode's structural problems.

Then in The Storm [01:06:38], the butterfly effect spreads its wings as Neil attempts to piece together the road ahead. Your faithful hosts also attempt to outline what's in store for the penultimate episode and the alleged 75-minute season finale.

Next week, season 3 reaches its penultimate frame. Will there be a big battle? Will there be a huge plot twist? Will the show divert from the books in a major way? Or will it be more filler... Regardless, the pod will return on Monday to break it all down.
