Why Celeste's Parents Can't Explain The London Form

Celeste Rivas Hernandez's parents signed a notarized document authorizing their daughter to travel to London for a week with d4vd. No family member accompanied her. She was thirteen or fourteen at the time. Defense attorney Blair Berk presented that form during the final day of the preliminary hearing — and it directly contradicts her father's public statement that he never had any contact with Burke.

The hearing ended with Judge Olmedo ruling there's enough evidence for trial on every count, including first-degree murder with special circumstances. The DA is weighing the death penalty. But the testimony that lingers is about the adults in Celeste's orbit — parents who took her phone away and called police, then signed permission slips for international travel with the man deputies had already told them was involved with their daughter.

Burke has pleaded not guilty. Celeste was fourteen years old when prosecutors allege she was killed.
