"The Kingdom Citizen: A Modest Life" by Greg Chandler

The mention of the word modesty typically brings to mind clothing, measurements, and decency. Biblically, however, it is much more. As Paul wrote to Timothy, he instructed the young evangelist regarding matters of modesty that relate to both men and women. While the subject of clothing is an important part of his discussion, Paul's teaching also addresses the deeper foundation of godliness, exploring the attitudes and responses that characterize those who seek first the kingdom.
