The prosecution's own lead witness walked out of the courtroom and filed a civil lawsuit against the people who were supposed to help his wife. Patrick Clancy is not suing to punish Lindsay. He is suing the doctors. Both he and Lindsay filed separate suits naming the providers who prescribed, adjusted, and failed to monitor seven medications that were in her blood that night.Criminal defense attorney Bob Motta of Defense Diaries examines what the defense extracted from cross-examination — testimony that no provider warned Patrick it was unsafe to leave Lindsay alone with the children despite her ER visits and documented intrusive thoughts.
