Bruce Gernon: Electronic Fog and the Bermuda Triangle

In December 1970, Bruce was flying from the Bahamas to Florida when he encountered a rapidly forming storm in the Bermuda Triangle. He describes entering a tunnel-like opening in the clouds before his aircraft became surrounded by a strange gray-white haze.

His instruments malfunctioned, visibility became distorted, and the airplane appeared to travel approximately 100 miles in far less time than should have been possible.

Bruce later coined the term electronic fog to describe the anomaly. The experience changed the course of his life and led to more than five decades of research into weather, electromagnetism, vortex formations, and possible distortions of time and space.

To show what he witnessed more accurately, Bruce created a three-dimensional reconstruction of the flight, including the cloud tunnel, electronic fog, and apparent displacement.

In our conversation, Bruce also shares more of his personal story, including a childhood UFO sighting and an unexplained voice he heard after the flight. The voice told him to remember the events of that day because they would be important for the world to understand in the future.

Bruce has also documented a curious hexagonal opening in storm clouds witnessed with his granddaughter. Could geometric cloud formations be connected to vortex activity—or something science has yet to identify?
