It Wasn’t the Cat | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

An overnight stay at a relative’s house took a strange turn when she woke to the sound of the bedroom door shaking in the middle of the night. It sounded as though someone was on the other side, trying to get in.

Her boyfriend heard it too, but there seemed to be an obvious explanation: the family cat. So when the sound happened again, they both tried to ignore it and went back to sleep.

By morning, though, something about that explanation no longer made sense.

Because once they realized where the cat had actually been during the night, they were left with a much more unsettling question.
