  • Community and Collaboration: Dr. Desppain highlights the vibrant Tampa/St. Pete artistic community as a key factor in her professional commitment to the region. Power Stories continues its tradition of supporting women playwrights through the annual Voices of Women Theatre Festival, which is currently accepting submissions for 10-minute shorts.
  • Upcoming Projects & Recognition: The organization is co-producing The Wash with The Studio at 620, running October 1st through 11th. Additionally, Big Broadway Energy is currently nominated for "Best Podcast in Tampa Bay," with public voting open through August 30th.
