My Apartment Got Quarantined By The Government

Rosa and I stood slowly and stepped over to my still open door. Peeking around the door jam, we saw Mrs. Johnson stumbling down the hall. She was bent over, hacking up dark chunks of viscous fluid. She looked up at us, tears running down her face, the same dark ooze dripped from her nose. And then she broke into a dead sprint down the hall, straight at us.
I grabbed Rosa, who had been stepping out into the hall, and pulled her back into my apartment, I slammed the door shut and turned the dead bolt. Mrs. Johnson began pounding violently on the heavy door, coughing and screaming.
