LifeBlood: There are only about 50 Saturdays in a year.

An 80-year life contains roughly 4,000 weeks.

Your kids will only believe in Santa for a handful of Christmases. There will be a finite number of dinners with your parents, years when your body is at its strongest, and seasons when you have the energy to build something meaningful.

Psalm 90:12 tells us, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

The Stoics called it memento mori. Martin Heidegger explored Being-toward-Death. Different traditions arrive at a similar truth: accepting that life is finite can help us live it more intentionally.

This episode explores what it means to number your days as a parent, child, competitor, entrepreneur, and human being…and how to develop a healthy relationship with mortality without turning your life into an anxiety-producing countdown.

The goal isn't maximum utilization.

It's intentional allocation.

Time isn't something you have. Time is your life.
