Burke pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder with special circumstances, continuous lewd acts with a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains. His financial manager Benjamin Greger testified at the preliminary hearing that after Celeste Rivas Hernandez's remains were found in Burke's Tesla, he told Burke's mother Colleen to transfer property titles out of her son's name. He testified they were trying to assemble two million for bail. He testified the team went to encrypted messaging. All while the singer's deal with Interscope was bleeding out — terminated December 2025, zero payments in 2026. Greger estimated Burke grossed over ten million dollars. The public defender's office says they're committed to his defense. DA Hochman says the death penalty is still on the table. Where the money went and what it means for this case — the full breakdown.
