James Armistead Lafayette

 During the American Revolution, a slave named James is recruited by the Marquis De Lafayette to become a spy for the Americans. The information he provided would ultimately lead to Cornwallis' defeat at Yorktown, and the end of the war. America got her Independence. It would be years before she returned the favor to James.
