Lanterns: Season 1, Episode 5, "Lights Out"

This week, Da7e and Neil are caught in the darkness cloud of an episode that feels like a season finale, even though they know that Lanterns must carry on for three-ish more hours.

In The Calm [05:36], they discuss the Very True Detective Thing of doing a midseason action finale. And they say goodbye (probably) to several of their multi-color Lantern theories.

Then in The Storm [48:30], your faithful hosts construct several new theories for what's in store in the final three episodes, at least one of which espouses radical ideology about Manhunter healthcare.

Next week, Lanterns continues with an episode that blips back to the 2026 timeline and promises to bring another familiar face into the fray.
