ABOUT HADESTOWN In a world where hope is hard to hold onto, young dreamer Orpheus and determined Eurydice fall in love and set out to build a life together. But when hardship draws Eurydice into the depths of Hadestown, Orpheus must journey to the underworld and risk everything to bring her home.  Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, Hadestown: Teen Edition is a haunting and hopeful journey about love, trust, sacrifice, and the power of a song to change the world. Featuring a soul-stirring score influenced by folk, jazz, and blues, this acclaimed musical invites audiences to imagine how the world could be and reminds us why some stories are worth telling again and again.
