Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)

“Unfortunately, they forgot to make this a movie…” - Eric

On this week’s show, we’re chatting about the total misfire that is Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li!

Holy smokes, what were they thinking here? What in the world with this narration? Why was the late, great Michael Clarke Duncan the only actor who understood the assignment here? Was the Chris Klein performance one of the inspirations for Tim Heidecker’s classic ‘Decker’ character? And why the heck did they make M. Bison an Irish guy? PLUS: Do you have to take Pokémons to the vet?

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li stars Kristin Kreuk, Chris Klein, Robin Shou, Moon Bloodgood, Josie Ho, Taboo, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Neal McDonough as Mike Bison; directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak.
