Nick Reiner Swears His Mother Never Told Him THIS

Two filings dated September 17 put a number on what Nick Reiner has taken from his $1.6 million trust since his arrest: not even five dollars. His attorneys Anita Wu and Geoffrey Neri say the age-30 distribution of at least $558,000 came due in 2023 while Rob and Michele were alive, and the slayer statute can't reach money that was already his. They add that $325,017 traces to Carl Reiner, who died in 2020, and that the trust document itself is now paying the trustees' lawyers to oppose him.

The trustee's answer is where this fight turns. Jodi Pais Montgomery's filing says prior trustee Matthew Fishburn was told by Michele that Nick knew about the money and chose to leave it, which would mean nothing is owed until 2028. Nick's sworn response: to the best of his recollection, no one ever told him. Montgomery also warns that a payout now can't be undone if a jury convicts. Judge Garcia rules after October 23.
