Caleb Flynn Pointed Police to WHAT Door?!

Caleb Flynn gave police a direction before they had finished clearing his Tipp City home: look at the garage. On the 911 call placed at 2:31 a.m. February 16, Flynn said someone had broken in, his wife Ashley had been shot, and the garage door was open. That detail became part of the intruder story from the opening minutes of the case. 

The prosecution now says the house told a different story. Prosecutors allege Flynn killed Ashley Flynn and staged the scene to resemble a burglary while the couple's two daughters were inside the home. Ashley was 37, coached middle school volleyball, worked as a substitute teacher, and was found dead in the bedroom. Flynn has pleaded not guilty. 

During trial testimony, Ohio BCI Senior Special Agent David Hammond described the garage side-door damage as inconsistent with the forced entries he had seen in burglary investigations. The defense has challenged the state's rush to judgment and is entitled to test every one of those conclusions in front of the jury. The door is evidence; the meaning of that evidence is the fight. 

Robin Dreeke and Jennifer Coffindaffer join Tony Brueski to break down the 911 call alongside the physical scene. They examine what Flynn volunteered, why the garage kept returning in his account, and how investigators separate panic from information that can be checked. Flynn was indicted on 11 counts, including aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and intimidation. The state says the garage undermines the intruder claim. The defense says Caleb Flynn did not kill his wife.
