Caleb Flynn Court Coverage Day 5: Botner Says Deadline Was OVER

Caleb Flynn's former mistress, Alleigha Botner, testified that she spent the end of 2025 demanding that Caleb leave Ashley Flynn. First came a Christmas Eve deadline. Then came January 11. Botner told jurors that when the second deadline expired, she texted Caleb that she was officially moving on.

She said Caleb answered on January 12 that he was sorry but understood the relationship was over. Weeks later, on February 3, Botner testified that Caleb reached out again, this time sending lyrics to a song he had written for her.

Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty in the killing of his wife, Ashley Flynn. Prosecutors allege Caleb killed Ashley and staged the scene to look like a burglary. His attorneys say Ashley was killed during a real home invasion and police rushed to judgment.

Botner's testimony gives the jury a date-by-date view of an affair that appeared finished in January, only to restart in February. That chronology now sits alongside the prosecution's broader theory of motive and the defense's argument that ugly relationship evidence does not prove murder.
