Karen Teasdale discusses 'Poison Kisses' with TRE's Hannah Murray

Karen Teasdale is from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Her memoir 'Poison Kisses' looks back at her traumatic childhood and the impact it's had on her life. She experienced psychical, emotional and psychological abuse, and grew up in an environment shaped by fear, manipulation and confusion.  She hopes to raise awareness of hidden abuse and the lifelong effects of childhood trauma.
