What Came Home with the Dresser? | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

Not long after bringing home a secondhand dresser, her young daughter began talking about a little girl she could see in her bedroom. At first, it sounded like the kind of imaginary friend many children have. The girl wanted to play, sometimes woke her during the night, and although her mother sensed something unusual in the room, she couldn’t tell whether the presence felt good or bad.

Then the stories changed.

The little girl was gone, and now her daughter was terrified of a clown appearing in the room at night.

One evening, while trying to comfort her, her mother plugged in a nightlight beside the dresser. What happened next made her wonder whether her daughter’s frightening visitor—and perhaps the dresser itself—was something she should have taken seriously from the beginning.
