- Sports: The Baltimore Ravens pulled off quite the victory over the Dallas Cowboys. J.J. McCarthy has been traded to the New York Giants and will compete for a starting job. The new CFB AP Poll is out and Michigan is nowhere to be found. Peyton Blomquist was filmed by an ESPN camera crew and she's the new 'it girl'.
- VMA's: Madonna is really old and embarrassing, but she dominated the young award show. She wore a diaper to the event. Some girl named Lisa cried after winning the coveted Moon Man. Snoop Dogg confirms that he still smokes marijuana. Nirvana showed up and checked the box for white male heterosexuals. There was backlash do to not being gay enough. Taylor Swift dropped a new music video and the Staffords made a cameo. The ratings for the show were terrible.
