The Philly House of Horrors Suspect Died BEFORE Police Found the Evidence

The man police believe is in the Philly House of Horrors footage died in his bed in May 2025—a full year before a park ranger’s traffic stop blew the case open. He was eighty-two. He was never charged with a violent crime. And he can never be prosecuted.

His name was Raymond “R.C.” Horsch—father of Eugene Horsch, the man sitting in federal custody on gun and credential charges after the June 2026 stop at Independence Mall. The search of their shared home at 417 West Chew Avenue in Olney uncovered a 55-gallon drum connected to water lines, containers of chemicals, and more than a million files across fifty hard drives.

Seven women are linked to the house. Five are believed dead. No bodies have been found. The figure in the videos is R.C., not Eugene. Eugene has not been charged with harming anyone.

R.C. Horsch had an IQ of 140, a criminal record stretching back to 1973, and decades of recruiting women from Kensington. A 1985 federal psych eval called him “consumed by anger.” His ex-wife vanished from the house in 2016. A missing woman’s photo sat on his website for years. None of that opened the front door. A parking violation did.

The FBI has reviewed thirty percent of the evidence. The rest is waiting. And the man at the center of it is already in the ground.
