Hannah Murray will start by looking at the bestseller lists on Amazon.co.uk and The Sunday Times, the oldest and most influential book sales chart in the UK, and seeing what new entries there are.

Under her other pen names she has been nominated for the Edinburgh International Book Festival First Book Award, to twice being a finalist in the Romantic Novelists' Association Saga of the Year Award. Her latest novel 'The French Resistance Hotel' is a one-of-a-kind sweeping novel based on the incredible true story of the Hotel Arbez, a refuge for prisoners of wars and Jews fleeing the Nazi's.
C D Major is the pseudonym of novelist and screenwriter Cesca Major. She's been a Reese's Book Club Pick and nominated for both the CWA and HWA Awards. Her latest novel 'The Residency' is about Ginny, a single mother barely scraping by who goes to a remote Scottish Island with her daughter after being accepted into an artist's residency.
Linda Sherlock undertook a creative writing course after a career in education. She is the author of the bestselling non-fiction book 'Shampoo and Set: 75 Years as a Hairdresser' Her new novel 'Carribay' was inspired by her mother's story, and is where family history meets charming Irish seaside village.
