In this episode of Music Scene, host Nanette Wiser talks with photographer Stephen Splane about the upcoming Suncoast Jazz Festival Nov. 20-22 at Sheraton Sand Key in Clearwater. His gorgeous photos and volunteer work on the board of directors for many years alongside Joan Dragon and Susan Fuller (Co-Exec. Dir., Suncoast Jazz Festival ) and other jazz enthusiasts is simply amazing. His photographs of jazz musicians throughout Tampa Bay make him a much-admired visual storyteller. Headliners include John Pizzarelli, Anat Cohen, Diego Figuerado and more. This year they have not one, but two of the best high school jazz bands in the country performing.
