Being seen - British healthcare worker "Rachel" tagged along with a friend to watch author Sam Vaknin do a seminar on narcissism in London in November 2018. He was yet to name himself the made-up title of Dr Professor. Over a year later, after he had criticised her in the comments section of his social media deeming her not intelligent enough, he eventually messaged her privately and everything changed. He was her constant support during the covid years. But his attention and comforting friendship was soon replaced with darker demands. Rachel was won over by the intelligent internet expert, but soon discovered it came with a price she wasn't willing to pay.
