Big Liska is a multidisciplinary creative whose work spans art, styling, upcycling and visual
expression. She refuses to let her creativity fit neatly into one box and continues to explore
what creating authentically looks like for her.

In this episode, we get into creating outside the box. Growing up without enough
representation for Black creatives, navigating creative spaces that can make you question
whether you belong, the “angry Black woman” stereotype, being misunderstood when you fully express yourself, and finding the confidence to create without shrinking yourself to fit
other people’s expectations.
